This is the highest International Award in Girls’ Brigade and girls must meet internationally
set requirements to gain this award. Six months service in the community
Service in her own Company
Involvement in her own Church
Complete two Initiative Tasks set by the Divisional Commissioner
Complete a major project or work
Pass a written exam paper on GB Knowledge/Government/Current Affairs
Satisfy a final interview panel, to ascertain her knowledge of Brigade, her social
poise, her spiritual growth and understanding and her community awareness.
The final Assessment (Interview) cannot be taken before a girl reaches the age of
17 years, or after her 25th birthday.
The girl must hold her Pioneer Pin at the time of her final assessment, and have
earned GOLD Service Awards for at least three years in the Pioneer
unit.
